An evening hosted by Buy Black NB to spread awareness of our mission, raise funds for our operations and celebrate our community.
About this event
Buy Black NB is pleased to announce the inaugural Black Excellence Gala, their first fundraising event and a night to remember. This event is sponsored by Vineyard Wind.
Where: The New Bedford Whaling Museum, Downtown New Bedford
When: Saturday, May 6 from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
What: An evening to spread awareness and raise funds for Buy Black NB operations & programs. VIP guests will enjoy a cocktail hour begining at 5PM. All general admission will also include food, cash bar, live entertainment & DJ, auction and more!
Formal dress code is recommended. This event is 21+

The festivities commence at 5PM with a VIP experience for VIP ticket holders complete with live music, champagne toast and gifts. Beginning at 6PM there is a cocktail reception with no assigned seating. Live Band and DJ will entertain us while a Photo Booth, Live Auction & Awards add to the fun!

Krave Restaurant has worked closely with the Gala committee to design a menu for the Black Excellence Gala with Hors d’Oeuvres and Food Stations. Beer, Wine & Spirits are available at the cash bar. Various desserts will be provided by local bakeries to create a community tasting!

The event attire is formal i.e. Cocktail dress or evening gown / suit or a tux.

No, only prepaid reservation holders will be admitted to the Gala. We are unable to accommodate event ticket purchases at the door.
